Dr. Vernon Smith, DMD
Dr. Vernon Smith is a native of Central Florida and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida in 2007. He went on to study at Nova Southeastern University where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2012. Dr. Smith began his career working for dental chains in central Florida but quickly realized that he wanted to focus more on establishing collaborative dentist-patient relationships and purchased Quality Dental Care in 2016.
Dr. Smith believes that dentistry should not be operated like a cookie-cutter based model and that each patient needs a treatment that is tailored to their needs. He is passionate about empowering patients regarding their dental care with effective communication and education throughout the dental treatment process. Dr. Smith’s main goal is to provide fair and honest quality dental care for his patients in Lakeland.
Dr. Mohammad Zaman, DDS
Dr. Mohammad Zaman is dedicated to delivering quality dental services to our patients in Lakeland, FL. Dr. Zaman has the rare honor of being trained in three dental specialties: oral surgery, prosthodontics, and periodontics. He received his dental degree from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1999. Subsequently, he completed a one-year dental internship followed by a four-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
In January of 2007, Dr. Zaman was granted a Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery after passing the Fellowship Examination. He furthered his education in 2013 by completing a three-year postgraduate specialty training in prosthodontics at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, where he received a Certificate in Prosthodontics and a Master of Science Degree.
Dr. Zaman then completed a one-year Implant Fellowship Residency in Periodontics at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in 2014 and currently holds a faculty position in Post Graduate Prosthodontics at Nova Southeastern University. His special interests are in aesthetic full-mouth reconstruction and complex dental implant surgical procedures.
